Chancellor George Osborne began his Budget statement yesterday with the words “Britain is walking tall again”.
Much was to be said about how far Britain has come under the current Parliament, with multiple data backing this up. Living standards within the UK have increased by up to £900 per household and unemployment rates have dropped significantly.
Most admirably, in 2014, Britain’s economy grew 2.6%; faster than any other advanced economy.
